PACS Clinical Applications Training (CAT)

This 3-day program is intended to train qualified personnel to configure and use the Merge PACS Diagnostic tools, Hanging Protocols and Real Time Worklist. While intended for the PACS Administrators, Rad Techs, IT Personnel, Clerks and Managers are also encouraged to attend. This prepares the PACS Administrator to better support radiologists and clinicians and to provide training to new users of the PACS viewers.

PACS Admins should complete this course within 30 days of your PACS Go-Live date. This train-the-trainer program will be held on a quarterly basis at Merge Training Headquarters.

This course utilizes a combination of lectures and hands-on exercises to present the course materials. The majority of the coursework is conducted in a physical classroom environment.

Timeline: PACS Visualization Coordinator(s) should attend this course within 30 days of PACS Go-Live date.

Frequency: Conducted quarterly at Merge Training Headquarters or by appointment at client site (schedule through your Merge Project Manager to ensure appropriate site readiness).
