Mark Bronkalla has over 30 years’ experience in medical imaging, including medical imaging from acquisition, through display, archiving and enterprise viewing;, image processing for radiology and cardiology, structured reporting for cardiology, and clinical information system integration.
Lisa Davies is the Director of Pre Sales Consulting at Merge Healthcare. She has earned a Bachelor of Science in Radiological Sciences and Quality Control as well as a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and International Relations from the University of Alabama in Birmingham. Ms. Davies has over 11 years in healthcare experience in roles ranging from technologist, clinical support, and clinical implementation.
Jon DeVries is the Vice President, Solutions Management at Merge Healthcare. Five years ago, he joined Merge to lead the clinical trials business before transitioning to the Healthcare IT division of Merge, where he was named VP of Solution Management for Interoperability and is responsible for the iConnect® Enterprise Clinical Platform of interoperability solutions, as well as Merge’s toolkit and international solutions.
Falon Greer is the Merge Unity PACS™ and CADStream Solutions Manager at Merge Healthcare. She oversees the strategy and roadmaps for Unity PACS and CADStream. Prior to her role as a Solutions Manager, Falon served as a Pre-Sales Consultant for Merge’s Enterprise Solutions where she grew her expertise in radiology PACS, image sharing, and clinical workflow. Falon received her Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
Mr. Hammond has over 22 years of healthcare experience. He has managed four start-up organizations and brings strong business, technical, and clinical expertise to his current role, Chief Sales & Marketing Officer.
Mr. Hammond joined Merge via the acquisition of AMICAS where he was VP of Sales since 2003. Prior, he was the Director of Sales, Marketing & Business Development for Acuo Technologies. He also held several leadership positions at ProVation Medical Spine-Tech, Meadox Medicals, and Smiths Industries. Mr. Hammond has an MBA from Carlson School of Management, University of Minnesota and a B.A. in Political Science from Miami University.
Lee Harrop has 35+ years of experience in cardiology including 13 years as a lead technologist at Rhode Island Hospital. He has experience in the commercial sector including ADAC Laboratories, Camtronics Medical Systems, and Merge Healthcare.
Rebecca Trunnell Hyman has over 30 years of experience; she started as a paramedic while completing a Master’s Degree in biochemistry and continued for 12 years of clinical practice in nuclear medicine, nuclear cardiology/PET, and imaging management. Rebecca has worked in pharmacy software development, international systems design and deployment, and bioinformatics.
Bill Kazee has witnessed the evolution of Radiology Information Systems for well over a decade. With over fourteen years of real-life, in-the-trenches clinical business experience, Kazee brings a unique outlook to his role as a RIS Solutions Manager. The melding of his prior experiences managing a multi-million dollar radiology operation at a 768-bed hospital, and managing RIS Solutions has proven successful in the industry. Ultimately, this results in the security of knowing that future roadmaps meet more than just the market needs, but equally as important, our customer’s unique business requirements. Having spoken at several national events, Kazee always brings his real world understanding of our market, with the necessary technical awareness to deliver messaging that is both effective and engaging to the audience.
Nancy Koenig is the General Manager at Merge Healthcare. She had previously served as the Company’s Chief Operating Officer. Ms. Koenig came to Merge Healthcare from Merrick Healthcare Solutions, where she served as its Chief Executive Officer. Prior to joining Merrick Ventures, Ms. Koenig was the President of Click Commerce during its integration as a subsidiary of ITW. Ms. Koenig joined Click Commerce as the Director of Business Consulting and held various positions, including the head of Click Commerce’s European Operations, Vice President of Product Operations and Marketing, and Executive Vice President, Operations. Ms. Koenig became Click Commerce’s President in 2006.
Shannon Marshall is a Solutions Manager at Merge Healthcare. Shannon has been in the healthcare IT business for 15 years. During this time she has led teams in Quality Assurance and worked in customer support for billing, reporting, and document management systems. Shannon is currently the Solutions Manager for Merge Financials, Dashboards, and Document Management.
Pete Nanos is Director, Solutions Management at Merge where he is responsible for developing the strategy and roadmaps for products that allow referring physicians and imaging centers to electronically exchange orders, reports, and images. Prior to joining Merge, Pete held a variety of roles in IT and imaging informatics at the University of Chicago, Medicine where he managed the Department of Radiology IT informatics portfolio which included infrastructure and application development. Julie Pekarek is the Vice President of Solutions Management for Merge Healthcare, where she oversees all of Merge’s ambulatory solutions, as well as government programs such as Meaningful Use, CDS and ICD-10. She has spent over 20 years in the healthcare industry, both on the provider side as a part of a healthcare system and on the vendor side at Baxter International and GE Healthcare. Ms. Pekarek received her BA in biology from the University of Chicago and a graduate degree in health systems management from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.
Murray Reicher, M.D.
Dr. Reicher is a board certified diagnostic radiologist, Fellow of the American College of Radiology, and Chief Medical Officer of Merge Healthcare. In 26 years with Radiology Medical Group of San Diego, he led its transformation to Imaging Healthcare Specialists, which owned 12 imaging centers, staffed two hospitals, and performed over 450,000 annual imaging procedures. In 1992 he co-founded DR Systems, Inc., which was acquired by Merge Healthcare in 2015. Dr. Reicher is the primary or co-inventor of over 50 issued and pending U.S. Patents.
Steve Tolle brings over 20 years of unique healthcare industry experience working in start-up or high-growth organizations in multiple healthcare sectors including healthcare technology and information exchange (HIE), pharmaceuticals, managed care, behavioral healthcare, academic medicine, Preferred Provider Organizations and disease management organizations.
Antonia Wells is the President of International and R&D at Merge Healthcare. Prior to her appointment, Ms. Wells served as Merge Healthcare’s OEM Vice President of Customer Operations. Ms. Wells has responsible for OEM contract management, quality and regulatory affairs, manufacturing, order management, professional services, and internal infrastructure. Ms. Wells has over 25 years of business management experience, including leadership roles in IT, enterprise system implementation, process re–engineering, and human resources.
